By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

Over 6,000 civil servants across Nigeria, the UK, India, Egypt, and the US have taken part in the Federal Civil Service promotion exam for director-level officers, conducted for the first time using JAMB’s Computer-Based Test system.

FCSC Chairman, Prof. Adetunji Olaopa, who monitored the exercise in Abuja, said the move marks a major step forward for the Commission, expressing confidence in JAMB’s long-standing expertise.

JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, praised the initiative and assured candidates that the CBT format is simple and user-friendly, noting that anyone who can operate a phone can navigate the exam.

Dr. Hussaini Adamu, FCSC Commissioner for FCT and Niger, added that the examination was held in sessions.
