PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PETITIONS TRIBUNAL TO DELIVER JUDGEMENT THIS WEEK.                                                       04/09/23.

By: Sadiq Aminu                                                     The Presidential Election Petitions Court sitting at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, will on Wednesday, this week, deliver judgment on the petitions challenging the election of President Bola Tinubu.

Both the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, are challenging the outcome of the election.

The Court had in May, this year, merged the petitions submitted by the various political parties while giving the pre-hearing report on the petition and presenting the trial schedule.

It also reserved judgment on the petitions filed by the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, in order to deliver the judgement on the same day as that of the other political parties.

The Registrar of the court who made this known to journalists, also stated that interested media stations would be allowed live coverage of the judgment.
