By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa has approved the release of 19 convicts currently serving various prison terms in the State under prerogative of mercy to mark the country’s 64th independence.

A release by the chief press secretary to the governor ,Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan says aside the 19 granted outright release, some others will see their death sentences commuted to life imprisonment and the rest having their sentences reduced.
