AREWA YOUTHS FOR PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE ADDRESSES ASARI DOKUBO’S REMARKS ON FCT MINISTER NYESOM WIKE                                                                         15-01-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                      The Arewa Youths for Peaceful Coexistence have condemned recent comments made by ex-militant leader, Asari Dokubo, against the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Speaking through their National President, Bature Haruna, and the FCT Chapter Coordinator, Ambassador Mark Okpanachi Ogah, the group described Dokubo’s remarks as unwarranted and self-serving.

They accused Dokubo of attempting to undermine Wike’s achievements, emphasizing that the FCT Minister remains focused on delivering transformational projects in Abuja.

The group also criticized Dokubo for overstepping his bounds and reminded him that he has no authority to interfere in governance matters, particularly those beyond Rivers State.

The Arewa Youths called on security agencies to caution Dokubo against further threats or insults directed at public officials.

They reaffirmed their support for Minister Wike, who they say has earned the respect of Nigerians, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his dedication to good governance.

In their words, “Nigeria is a sovereign state governed by the rule of law, and no individual is above this law.”
