ZAMFARA ASSEMBLY CALLS FOR SUSPENSION OF ZAROTA CHAIRMAN

The Zamfara State House of Assembly has urged Governor Dauda Lawal to suspend the Chairman of the Zamfara Road Traffic Agency (ZAROTA), MB Musa, over alleged misappropriation of more than ₦11 million.
The call followed a report by the House Committee on Ethics, which revealed that agency funds were diverted without due process. Lawmakers agreed that the chairman should step aside while investigations continue.
The Deputy Speaker, Adamu Aliyu Gummi, announced the resolution after it was unanimously adopted during Wednesday’s sitting.
