POLICE OPERATIVES IN ANAMBRA ARRESTS ONE SUSPECT, DIVINE NNALLUE FOR STEALING A CAR                                                                        16-06-25

By Sadiq Aminu.                                                      The Operatives attached to the 33 Police Station in Onitsha, acting on intelligence -driven investigation, arrested the suspect at Ugbeji – Okpanam, very close to Asaba in Delta State.

A statement from the Police Public Relations Officer of the command, Mr Tochukwu Ikenga, says the suspect is a domestic worker who allegedly stole a black Toyota Camry with registration number ENU 289 JF belonging to his employer at Trinity Avenue, Federal Housing in 33, Onitsha.

He explained that during the interrogation, the suspect confessed to having sold the car to an unidentified person.

The Police Image Maker stated that based on the revelation of the suspect, the Operatives had started working on the possible recovery of the vehicle and arrest of the other persons involved in the criminal act.

Mr Ikenga pointed out that the arrest of the suspect would demonstrate the Command’s commitment to protecting citizens’ properties and upholding the law.
