KEBBI GOVERNOR FLAGS OFF N3.8B YAURI TOWNSHIP ROADS 11-11-23
By Sadiq Aminu The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has flag-off the rehabilitation of Yauri Township roads that was awarded at the rate N3.8 billion.
Speaking while flagging-off the projects at Yauri market, the Governor promised to continue to support the people of Yauri and provide them with the dividends of democracy.
Governor Idris stated that, the contract which was awarded to the China Zhounghou Nig. Ltd. will cover the distances of 5.1kilometers.
Also speaking, the Emir of Yauri Dr. Zayyanu Abdullahi, expressed satisfaction over the development recorded so far by the present administration from inception to date.
He thanked the Governor for fulfilment of the promised made during the electioneering campaign.
Earlier, the State Commissioner for Works and Transport Engineer Abdullahi Umar Faruk,
explained that, the scope of work for the project are complete scarification of existing carriageway, construction of RC drains and culverts, provision of sub base and base courses, provision of MCI and asphalt overlay, shoulder surface dressing, and desisting of existing drains.
He assured the people of Yauri Emirate that, the construction firm is equal to the task and is ready to do quality work according to specifications.
