TUDUN BICHI COMMUNITY IN DANKO WASAGU LG APPEALS FOR INTENSE SECURITY AS 7 PEOPLE KILLED BY BANDITS                                                               04-05-24                      By Sadiq Aminu                                                               The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has promised to ensure the deployment of more security personnel to Tudun Bichi village in Danko Wasagu Local Government Area of the state to beef up security of lives and property following the killing of seven people while in their farms.

The Governor made the promise when he paid an official visit to the village to sympathise with the villagers over the recent bandits attack in the area.

The Governor said, his administration would do everything possible to protect the lives and property of the citizens saying, we will not tolerate any form of criminality or breach of peace in the state.

While describing security as a responsibility of all, Governor Idris, urged the people to support the security operatives with credible intelligence to enable them effectively discharge their constitutional responsibility.

Responding, the Village Head of Tudun Bichi, Alhaji Muhammad Mika’ilu, while thanking the governor for the visit, appreciated the efforts of the governor in reducing the high rate of banditry in the area.

He appealed to the Governor to order the deployment of security operatives with requisite fighting equipment to deal with the bandits and enable the community to go back to normal uninterrupted farming of both food and cash crops.
