BAUCHI GOV’T ORGANIZES RETREAT FOR POLITICAL APPOINTEES, HEADS OF MDAS                                                                                                                     11-10-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                         In Bauchi State, Political Office Holders and top government officials are undergoing a Three-Day Retreat on how to improve their performances in running the affairs government towards actualizing the vision of Governor Bala Mohammed’s led administration.

The retreat organized by Office of the State Head of Civil Service in collaboration with office of Secretary to the State Government seeks to examine the success and challenges recorded during the first term of the Governor’s administration with a view to proffering solutions.

Declaring the event open in Bauchi, Governor Bala Mohammed said the move was to set a standard for service delivery where heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies are expected to be guide by Key Performing Evaluation inline with the global based practice.

Bala Mohammed said his reelection for a second term informed the decision to update the blueprint of his administration in an effort to consolidate on provision of infrastructure and human capital development across the state.

Speaking on the significance of the event, Chairman of the Occasion Professor Usman Bugaje identified teamwork, technological driven initiatives as well as commitment to duty as some of the major requirements for a successful administration.

The participants include Commissioners, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries, Local Government Caretaker Committee Chairmen, Civil Society Organizations, Heads of Security Agencies, Traditional and Religious Leaders.
