By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  The Chairmen and the Councillors were elected in the last Saturday council elections held in Kwara State after seven years.

At the swearing-in ceremony which took place at the Government House Ilorin, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq charged the Chairmen to work with all and serve the people diligently.

Governor AbdulRazaq advised them to see their election as a call to serve their people.

He also enjoined residents of various local government councils to give maximum support to the new leaders for them to deliver on the mandate given to them.

The Governor congratulated the Council Chairmen and all the One Hundred and Ninety-three Councillors on their victory at the just concluded election.
