The Kano State Government has taken a significant step towards enhancing Islamic education in the state by partnering with Muslim Charity For United Kingdom.

This collaboration aims to support Islamiyya schools with modern learning materials, ultimately improving overall educational standards .

According to the director Public Enlightenment, Ministry of Education, Kano State, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, this initiative aligns with the government’s broader efforts to strengthen the education sector.

The partnership will address critical challenges facing Islamic education, ensuring Islamiyya schools receive necessary support for effective teaching and learning.

He pointed out that, the State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, expressed optimism that this partnership would enhance Islamic education, particularly within the Islamiyya school system.

He hinted that, the engagement will focus on providing modern learning materials to improve students’ performance .

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Dr. Samira Abubakar Abdullahi, leader of Muslim Charity For United Kingdom, explained that the organization is actively working in Nigeria to support education and healthcare initiatives.

She stated that their contributions include school renovation programs, educational development projects, and healthcare services.

“We are here at the ministry to discuss areas of collaboration and to brief the Honorable Commissioner about our activities,” she said.
