TINUBU CREATING JOBS THROUGH INFRASTRUCTURE – WIKE
By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike says President Bola Tinubu is opening up employment opportunities for Nigerians by driving massive infrastructure projects.
Speaking in Abuja at the flag-off of the Arterial Road N20 linking Obafemi Awolowo Way to the Airport Expressway, Wike noted that Tinubu’s backing for road development in the FCT has created thousands of jobs.
He explained that with 16 key road projects flagged off in just 16 days, multiple companies and workers are now engaged, boosting livelihoods across the capital.
Wike added that infrastructure remains central to FCT’s growth while assuring that health and education sectors are also receiving attention. He pledged that by the end of Tinubu’s first term, Abuja would stand among the most developed cities globally.
On the new N20 road, Wike said it would increase property value, attract investments, and improve the quality of life for residents. He promised timely completion, urging contractors to employ youths and residents to support the project.
