By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Progressive Governors Forum has reaffirmed its full support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda after a two-day strategy meeting in Lagos.

In a communiqué, the APC governors said they remain committed to aligning state policies with federal reforms to ease economic hardship, improve security and expand development across the country. They praised Nigerians for their resilience and assured that ongoing reforms in agriculture, power, transport, housing and social investment will deliver better living conditions.

The Forum also promised stronger collaboration with federal institutions and local governments, deeper investments in infrastructure and more inclusion for youths, women and persons with disabilities. It pledged to improve grassroots governance, strengthen security coordination and promote unity nationwide.

Governor Hope Uzodimma thanked APC members in Lagos for their commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, while Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu described the Forum as a platform driving political and cultural transformation. Lagos Assembly Speaker Mudashiru Obasa and APC Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi also praised the governors’ support for national reforms.

The governors reaffirmed loyalty to the APC and vowed continued support for President Tinubu as they work toward a more secure and prosperous Nigeria.
